In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Art and Design category saw notable activity across popular apps in Australia, according to Sensor Tower data.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor from Canva maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue reaching up to $164K, although it tapered to about $114K by the end of December. Downloads experienced a peak at 33K in late October, while active users fluctuated, peaking at over 513K in late November before closing the quarter at approximately 462K.

Future Self Face Aging Changer by AMOBEAR TECHNOLOGY GROUP showed modest revenue growth, starting at $163 and ending around $165. Downloads climbed steadily, peaking at over 4.7K mid-December, and active users rose consistently, reaching over 20K by the end of the quarter.

The AI Video - AI Video Generator from HubX experienced a notable revenue spike in late October at $12K, followed by a decline towards $5K by year-end. Downloads also peaked mid-quarter at 10K, with active users peaking at nearly 5K in early December.

ibis Paint X from ibis inc. showed a steady increase in downloads, reaching over 8.5K by late December. Revenue remained relatively stable, fluctuating around $1K, while active users saw a resurgence in late December, peaking at over 81K.

Finally, Sketchbook observed a slight increase in downloads, peaking at 7.7K during the holiday period. Revenue remained modest, hovering around $200, and active users increased to over 51K by mid-December.
